I have a very unique eyebrows. It grows very differently than others. This made me cut it short so as not to have that twirl effect on it. Simply put, it is a struggle for me to make my eyebrows flawless as possible.
I’ve seen tutorials on how to groom eyebrows but I am not consistent in trying to replicate it. There are times I feel great having done my eyebrows, most of the times the fill I put in was too thick and there are times when it’s not just okay. Until this very day I am still learning and trying hard to achieve that perfect eyebrows.
Gladly, I have the chance to attend this month’s installment of the Abreeza Fashion Forum where I learned tips and facts about eyebrow trends and grooming.
With eyebrows being a hot topic in beauty in recent years, the Abreeza Fashion Forum and Browhaus: The Brow Salon teamed up to school guests on the basics and trends in brows. Gracing the forum held on September 17, 2015 was beauty expert Nicole Romero, who maintains the beauty blog BeautyAndSparkle.com, is editor-in-chief of SkinMatters.com.ph, and has served as beauty editor for magazines such as Cosmopolitan, Women’s Health, OK!, and Candy.
Nicole presented a brief history of brow evolution followed by a roundup of recent brow trends seen on the runway, then delved into the basics of brow grooming, from how to fill in brows correctly and why guys should also groom their brows. She then answered guests’ questions on caring for their own brows.
Also present to meet with guests at the Fashion Forum were Browhaus Managing Director Tab Abad and PR & Marketing Manager Monique Jamlang.
