My TV-series life has been on hiatus since April because most of the series I’ve been following has ended their seasons. Big Bang Theory, The Vampire Diaries, Revenge and oh the Walking Dead which surprisingly I’ve grown to love and yes, enjoy! (Not that I can stand watching it alone, haha, but yeah I have love it!) Well, these are just some of the series that got me hooked, there’s a lot, you know, but these tops my list. So here am I on the waiting mode for fall or waiting for the month of September which is the official month for these series to start again for their new seasons.
Like before, (I already told this in one of my post), some series just got into me while I was on the waiting mode, talk about Criminal Minds! 🙂 Now, I’ve got something new to share to you. Not that it’s a new series; it’s actually an old show way back my high school years but I’ve never heard of or watch. Bummer! However, it’s better late than never, right? So,taadaaa! Please give way to the epic show My Wife and Kids!!!! Yes, you read that right! The couple Michael and Jay with their three children; Junior, Claire and Kady.

It was my dear boyfie who introduced me again to this lovable series. What really got me is that, it’s not only FUNNY but it is also educational. Educational in the sense that you can learn about how to handle family related problems or situations, peer pressure, sex education and a lot more in between. Handling them not in some common, domesticated ways but of a new, effective and more modern way. It’s not the typical stereo type shows that you can guess what’s going to happen or what’s not gonna happen. It’s a liberal show, one that is really showcasing what’s the real deal in one’s family life, in one’s teenage life or better yet, in our life.
I can really go on and on describing how wonderful the show is. But I would like you to try and watch even just one episode of this epic series- you’ll gonna love it for the world! I swear! I’m currently on its Season 4 and you know what, as much as I would love to watch it till the end, I’m afraid of actually finishing it coz there wouldn’t be any episode left for me to watch anymore. And here’s more, the show sort of incorporated so many “THE GODFATHER” ways (the best movie there is, if I may say). Like the lead character which is Michael Kyle=Michael Corleone and Jay=Kay which is their wives. There are also a lot of scenes and dialogues which they got from the said movie. Oh, talking about Michael making Franklin his concierge and a whole lot more. Enough said, you better be the judge and see for yourself! 🙂

My husband and I used to watch this series before when we were still living in Malaysia or was it in Maldives? Hehe. All I remember is that we loved this show.
This gives me an idea, will bug husband to download this series so we can watch it again! 🙂
sadly, i seldom watch TV, almost has no time for TV since if I watch TV, i can't enjoy blogging, coz I seldom stay at home, after work, I would enjoy the outdoors, and whatever little time I have left, I do household chores and enjoy life blogging, haha! I learn a lot too, like I learn from your post about the TV series I could watch if and when I will have so much time and run out of idea what to do at home.

I watch this sometimes but not really hook into following it 🙂 I do like to watch reality shows like Dancing with the Stars and American Idol which will end tonight 🙂

My kids and hubby take over the remote control, now I'm stuck with Adventure Time, anime,iCarly, etc. When will I relinquish my ownership of the rc, maybe never?
Just like Ate Betchai, I seldom watch TV too so I am bot that familiar with the Series but upon reading your review, I can say that My Wife and Kids is very interesting.
