The last leg of our Davao Life is Here tour was at Zabadani- a halal Middle Eastern Cafe that actually means “core of goodness“. I’ve been hearing a lot about this resto from Julie and finally we had the chance to dine in there.
Upon entering you’ll immediately notice the Arabian ambiance of the place. It’s cozy and and it gives you the feeling of having the place all by yourself even if there are other customers. Amazing right? Now on to the foods, expect the not-so-common taste being served as it is a halal Middle Eastern Cafe. However, for me who loves spicy food, I don’t really mind. It’s just that we were so full during that time, I’ve never got the chance to take advantage of the abundance of food being served to us! Really! It seemed like the food being served was non-stop we had to request to take out the rest of the food!

Pita Shateerah |
Even if our tummies were so full that time, I would still say that this is a must try dish! A pita bread with ground beef and cheese, cabbage, tomatoes and cucumber. I bet you would die for the ground beef, cheese and the sauce- it was just so yummy!
Shawarma |
This is was also good but the scent of the spices was too much for me.
Samboosak |
The second best dish among the three for me!
Ayran |
A yogurt drink that is sinfully tasty! It helps neutralize the spicy foods being served here at Zabadani’s. You can opt to have it plain or flavored.
Macadamia Nut Syrup |
This is my choice for my Ayran! Such a sweet taste and the best partner for Ayran yogurt!
